Trogir City Museum
The opening of the exhibition “100 lica trogirskih razglednica” will take place on Wednesday, July 10th at 9:00 PM in the exhibition space of the Trogir City Musem in the main city street. The exhibition, through which the Museum aims to highlight the importance of postcards as historical documents and encourage more systematic purchases and donations, is held under the patronage of the City of Trogir and will be open every day until August 30, 2024.
On the 61st anniversary of its founding, the Trogir City Museum is presenting a selection of old postcards from its collection for the first time through this exhibition! Out of 447 postcards, Daniela Kontić, the exhibition’s author and documentary curator, has selected 100 of the most representative ones for the exhibition – starting from the oldest known, from 1897, to the youngest from 1960. The chosen greeting and illustrated postcards have been enriched with descriptive texts by the exhibition’s co-author, Maja Maljković Zelalija, the senior public relations manager of the Trogir City Museum.
We are delighted to invite you to join us at the opening of the exhibition on July 10, 2024, at 9:00 PM and to visit it every day until August 30, in the morning from 10:00 to 1:00 PM and in the afternoon from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
