You’ve visited the old part of Trogir, and you don’t know what to do next?
Why not spend a day surrounded by the sound of waves hitting the shore and cicadas buzzing in the distance?
That is exactly what you can expect if you visit the Drvenik islands. Only an hour away, these islands are a perfect escape from a busy town. With their all around mediterranean vegetation and crystal clear sea, it is a real gem that many people do not know about.
Near Drvenik islands you can find very small islands such as: Mali and Veli Krknjaš, Malta, Orud and Mačaknar. Blue Lagoon is a breathtaking bay located around Krknjaši on the south side of the island. The lagoon is surrounded by lush green hills that make for a striking contrast against bright blue waters.
It is a well-known get-away spot!
You can go to the islands by yourself by taking a daily ferry from Soline port where it only takes an hour to get to your destination. There are also many „fish picnic“ day trips that are offered by tourist agencies, as well as direct booking which can be found on the promenade.
