As part of the 53rd Trogir Summer Festival, we are once again treated to a combination of unique Dalmatian and continental dance expressions.
This time, on August 20, 2023, starting at 9:00 p.m., guests from Vukovar are coming to Trogir’s Kamerlengo fortress. KUD Dunav is one of the oldest societies in the city of Vukovar. The company is the host of many cultural events in the city of Vukovar, both today and in its centuries-old tradition. It brings together Vukovar residents of all generations who dedicate their free time to music, dancing, singing and playing traditional tambourine instruments.
The host of this folklore evening is the KUD “Kvadrillja”. KUD “Kvadrillja” is one of the societies with the longest continuity of activity in Trogir, and one of the most important participants in the cultural life of the city of Trogir as well as promoters of dance and music heritage. As such, it strives to preserve quality, teaches children and young people, popularizes the cultural heritage and values of the city of Trogir.
The evening will be enriched by the female klapa Mindula from Okrug Gornji, which nurtures the original klapa expression with spiritual and secular interpretations, and is adorned with a strong sense of community and klapa life.
