In Trogir, the program for the 54th edition of the Trogir Summer<\/strong> Festival <\/strong>was presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, Trogir will host over 75 events <\/strong>at various locations throughout the city and 14 events on the islands of Drvenik Veliki and Drvenik Mali, enriching the cultural offer and providing unforgettable experiences for all residents and visitors. The program includes 7 festivals, 16 theater performances for children and adults, 9 fisherman’s feasts, concerts by popular regional and local performers, exhibitions, stand-up shows, literary evenings, a summer carnival, and much more, enhancing the overall experience of staying in Trogir.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For many years, the Trogir Summer Festival has promoted the development of culture and art in the city with its rich program and content. Thanks to the long tradition of authentic cultural creativity, this event has become one of the most prominent in Dalmatia, spreading the wealth of Trogir’s tangible and intangible cultural heritage worldwide through tourism. The City of Trogir and the Trogir Tourist Board continuously work on improving the quality and diversity of the program, making Trogir a globally recognized destination for cultural tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program begins on the main square on July 5, 2024<\/strong>, with the ceremonial concert “Klapa Trogir and Ivica Sikiri\u0107 I\u0107o \u2013 Vrime gre, a pisma traje,<\/strong>” celebrating six decades of continuous preservation and nurturing of authentic Dalmatian klapa songs and a cappella singing. On the main square, Ivica Sikiri\u0107 I\u0107o and Klapa Trogir \u2013 the first formally organized klapa in Dalmatia \u2013 will revive the values and beauty of klapa singing, an invaluable jewel of Trogir’s intangible cultural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the opening, an impressive lineup of well-known performers from the domestic and regional music scene will take place. Among the notable names performing are: Doris Dragovi\u0107, Josipa Lisac, Sergej \u0106etkovi\u0107, Magazin, Ivica Sikiri\u0107 I\u0107o, Zorica Kond\u017ea, Diktatori, Mjesni Odbor, Matko and Brane, Klapa \u0160ufit with Petar Dragojevi\u0107 and Boris O\u0161tri\u0107.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to these great performances, Trogir will host the urban KulaKula Festival<\/strong> from August 2 to 4,<\/strong> promising even more musical excitement. The festival will bring together seven performers: Edo Maajka, Zabranjeno Pu\u0161enje, Bu\u010d Kesidi, Urban &4, DANI, Senidah, and Nika Turkovi\u0107.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year’s program with seven different festivals truly offers something for everyone<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The traditional cultural festival Opera Selecta<\/strong> celebrates its 16th edition <\/strong>this year, featuring a concert by world-renowned violinist Maxim Vengerov<\/strong> and exceptional pianist Evgenia Startseva<\/strong>, bringing an evening of top classical music. This will be followed by a fashion show by designers ELFS, Krie Design, and Zagea<\/strong>. The GALA concert<\/strong>, featuring Serena Saenz, Jaka Mihela\u010d, and the Acoustic Project Strings<\/strong> ensemble, is also a must-see, with Laura Vadjon & Pavao Ma\u0161i\u0107<\/strong> performing at the Duke’s Palace in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fans of electronic music can look forward to the 11th edition<\/strong> of the Moondance Festival<\/strong>, held under the walls of the Kamerlengo fortress, one of the leading underground techno festivals in the region, featuring performances by international, regional, and local live and DJ artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New festivals enriching the Trogir Summer Festival program are the Trogir Organ Festival, the TRAG Festival, and the Guitar Masters Festival.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Trogir Organ Festival<\/strong> combines a series of activities related to organ art and the world of organs in Trogir, which is a global phenomenon due to the number of sacred objects in such a small area of the historic city center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TRAG Festival<\/strong> takes place over two weekends in June, providing an opportunity for quality musicians who create less commercial, alternative music to present themselves to the Trogir audience and showcase their skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Masters of Guitar Festival<\/strong> brings renowned musical names to Trogir. The first among them is Petrit \u00c7eku<\/strong>, one of the leading guitarists of his generation, who regularly performs on the world’s most important stages, and will open the festival at the Duke’s Palace on September 2. Shortly after, on September 6, one of the most promising young guitarists in the world, winner of over 40 first prizes in competitions around the globe \u2013 Filip Mi\u0161kovi\u0107<\/strong>, will showcase his talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, the Trogir Town Museum<\/strong> has organized several exhibitions throughout the summer, with a highlight being the “Salvador Dali: Hidden Faces” <\/strong>exhibition, presenting 162 of the artist’s works from the private Kesauri collection from France to the Croatian public for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the unique experience of authentic melodies will be provided by performances by Klapa Stivanja<\/strong>, as well as performances by Trogir musicians and other local artists, whose blend of vocals and instruments will capture the hearts of classical music lovers. Additionally, several fisherman’s feasts <\/strong>have been organized, where fish specialties are prepared on the streets of the city and surrounding areas, accompanied by entertaining music and a Mediterranean atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This summer, the Kamerlengo fortress and the Malarija park will become open stages, hosting numerous well-known faces from the theater world, with performances such as “Da sam ja neko” by Enis Be\u0161lagi\u0107, “O\u010di Uo\u010di Zgospod\u2019non \u2013 Ri\u010dard,” “\u0160ta me opet sna\u0111e” by An\u0111elka \u017dugi\u0107, as well as performances like “Otvoreni brak,” “Uvijek \u0107e nam ostati ljubav,” “Prekid preko veze,” “\u017denici,” and other performances and stand-up shows for both adults and children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The summer concludes with the already well-known Bokun Festivala<\/strong>, which, under the slogan “Culture to the People!<\/strong>” promotes classics from the world of film and art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
